The Bless CompanyWe do final construction cleans in Culpeper County, Virginia — new builds, additions, gut renovations. Broom clean is where our job starts, not where it ends.
Not complaints about anybody's trades — this is simply what a house looks like the day the last van pulls out. Every one of them has a fix, and the fix is the job.
The finest dust on a site. It settles for days after sanding, gets into HVAC returns, tops of doors, light diffusers and window tracks. Wipe it dry and you just move it.
Flecks on glass, hinges, outlet covers, tile grout and hardwood. Invisible until the sun crosses the room at 4pm, then it's all the client sees.
Appliance film, tub protector, window energy stickers, adhesive on cabinet doors, tape residue on trim. Left in the heat, it bakes on.
Cloudy film across new tile, thinset on the edges, caulk smear at the tub line. Reads as bad tile work when it's just uncleaned tile work.
Screws and cut-offs in cabinet bases, sawdust in drawer boxes, nails in the closet corner, packing foam under the vanity, mud in the garage bay.
Boot marks on the stair risers, cart tracks on LVP, handprints on freshly painted jambs, smudged stainless. Cosmetic — and the first thing at walkthrough.
Ceilings, fan blades, tops of doors and casing, vents and returns, then walls, then the floor — HEPA vacuum first, damp microfibre second. We come back through a day later for the settle-out, because there always is one.
Razor scrape on glass and tile, plastic blade on finished wood, solvent only where the finish takes it. Every outlet cover, switch plate, hinge and door stop checked by hand.
Appliance film, window stickers, tub protection, cabinet tags. Adhesive residue lifted, surface polished after — not left tacky for dust to stick back to.
Haze remover appropriate to the stone or porcelain, then a rinse pass so nothing dries back. Caulk edges cleaned up, shower glass taken to clear.
Cabinets and vanities emptied, vacuumed and wiped inside. Closets, shelves, under stairs, mechanical room, garage. Trash and packaging hauled out, not stacked at the curb.
Risers, jambs, baseboard and LVP taken back to clean. Interior glass and tracks, stainless polished with the grain, floors finished last so the house is walkthrough-ready when we leave it.
What the same rooms look like once the dust pass, the glass and the floors are done.

The Bless Company is a small team, not a rotating labour pool. On a post-build you get the same faces from the rough clean to the final, which is why nothing gets missed twice and why you can tell one person what the punch list changed to.
If the painter is coming back Thursday, we split the clean. Rough clean now, final after the last trade is off site.
HEPA vacuums, water, power if the panel isn't live yet, ladders for the high work. No draw on your site services.
Post-build square footage lies. A 2,400 sq ft house after a full gut is a different job to a 2,400 sq ft spec build with two trades left. So we come look, then give you one number and a date we can hold.
